What spends a credit, and what does not
Two things cost credits and both cost one. Everything else on the platform is free, including the alerts themselves.

The credit is spent when the check runs
Not when it finds something. The charge does not depend on whether the lorry moved, whether the plaza changed, whether an alert was raised, whether Telegram delivered it, or whether anything was found at all. All four of these cost the same one credit:
- A new crossing was recorded.
- Nothing new since last time.
- The portal did not answer.
- The alert could not be delivered.
An empty result still costs a credit
It is a real answer: nothing has been recorded for that number recently. The asking is what costs, so it is charged like any other look.
Per lorry per check, not per alert
Several alerts due on the same lorry at the same moment share one charge. A faster beat costs more; more rules on the same beat do not.

The portal failed. Why was I charged?
Because the check ran. That is also why a lorry pauses itself after a run of failures — so a wrong number cannot keep buying errors.
Does a bigger plan make each look cheaper?
No. A plan decides how many lorries and for how long. The rate for a look is the same on every plan. Bigger top-ups are what give you better value per credit.
Where can I see exactly what was charged?
Activity lists every charge and can be narrowed to one lorry. Credit history reconciles the same charges against your balance.
