Getting started

Guides
Can I try it before paying anything?

Yes — there is a free trial, one per account and one per email address, and you can start it from Plan and credits once your email is verified. It watches one lorry and comes with a small pot of credits; the exact days and credits are on the trial card itself.

What do I actually have to do before a lorry is being watched?

Six things, in this order: sign up, verify your email with the code, take the trial or buy a plan, connect Telegram in Settings, add the lorry under My trucks, and switch on one alert for it. The one people skip is Telegram, and skipping it is the expensive mistake — see getting started.

How does it know where my lorry is? Is this GPS?

It is not GPS and there is no device in the lorry. We ask the national toll network what your registration number has been recorded at, so you see the plazas it has passed and when — and a lorry on untolled roads produces nothing at all. The full account of where the data comes from is at data sources.

What is a credit?

A credit is one look at the toll records: one manual search costs one credit, and one automatic check of a watched lorry costs one credit. Your balance is one wallet that pays for both, and you can see it on Plan and credits.

Why does it ask for a code from my email?

Only the free trial needs it, because the trial is once per account and per mailbox and an unread mailbox can be manufactured. Buying a plan or credits never asks for a code — enter yours on verify email.

Can I see where a lorry is right now?

No. You see where it was last recorded crossing a toll plaza. Between plazas, and on roads with no plaza, there is nothing to see.

More in “What Rahdari does, and what it costs you”

Does a search cost the same whether it finds something or not?

Yes. One credit, because the asking is what costs. An empty result is a real answer and it costs the same one credit.

More in “What Rahdari does, and what it costs you”

Do I need a plan just to search one lorry by hand?

No. Manual search runs off your credit balance and works even when a plan has ended. Automatic tracking is the part that needs a plan that is still running.

More in “What Rahdari does, and what it costs you”

Can I change my sign-in email later?

Write to us. It is not a field you can edit yourself, because the address is what the trial, the receipts and the password reset all hang on.

More in “Open an account and confirm your email”

Is my mobile number required?

Add it. It is what we use to reach you about a payment, and the trial is one per mobile number as well as one per account.

More in “Open an account and confirm your email”

I registered but nothing is being tracked. Why?

Registering only opens the account. Automatic checking needs a plan or a running trial, plus a lorry with at least one alert switched on. Follow your first lorry, end to end.

More in “Open an account and confirm your email”

Can I get a second trial?

No. It is refused by the account, the mailbox and the mobile number. An administrator can add credits by hand if there is a real reason, so write to us rather than making a second account.

More in “Claim the free trial”

My trial ended and I still had credits showing. Where did they go?

They were cleared, which is the rule for trial credits. The clearing is recorded in your credit history so you can see exactly what happened and when.

More in “Claim the free trial”

Do I have to give card details for the trial?

No. Nothing is charged and nothing is asked for. You only reach a payment screen when you choose a plan.

More in “Claim the free trial”

How long until I see something?

The first check happens within one beat of the alert you set. But a message only arrives when there is something to say: a parked lorry produces no movement and, on the Only when it moves rule, no message.

More in “Your first lorry, end to end”

Should I start with a fast beat to see it working?

No. Use Check now on the lorry's own page instead — it is one credit and it answers straight away. Then leave the automatic beat slow until you know what you want.

More in “Your first lorry, end to end”

Can I add several lorries at once?

Add them one at a time on My trucks, because each one needs its own alert. For reading several together afterwards, put them in a group on Groups.

More in “Your first lorry, end to end”

Do more alerts on one lorry cost more?

No. A credit is charged per lorry per check, not per alert. Several alerts due on the same lorry at the same moment share one charge. A faster beat costs more; more rules on the same beat do not.

More in “How credits work”

I have credits but my plan ended. Can I still use them?

For searching by hand, yes — that is the point of credits never expiring. For automatic tracking, no: that needs a plan that is still running.

More in “How credits work”

Does an alert or a Telegram message cost anything?

No. Raising an alert and sending it are free. Only the looking costs.

Lorries and tracking

Guides
My lorry stopped being checked and I never paused it

Something stopped it and the row says which: an end time you set arrived, no toll crossing arrived for long enough, the portal could not answer for that number, the balance ran out, or the plan ended. Open the lorry on My trucks — the badge names the reason and the (i) beside it gives that lorry's own figures.

I renewed my plan but my lorries are still switched off

That is how it works: renewing brings automatic checking back, but it does not switch any lorry on again. Take the ones you still need live yourself from My trucks, which is also the moment to leave the parked ones off.

I topped up and tracking is still off

Topping up clears the refusal but it does not resume anything — the lorries that emptied the balance are usually the ones you least want back on, so the choice is left to you. Switch the ones you want live again on My trucks.

Why does it say no movement when the lorry moved this morning?

The clock runs from whichever is later, the last recorded crossing or the moment you took the lorry live, and it pauses when nothing new has arrived for the hours allowed. A crossing on an untolled road is not a crossing we can see, so a lorry off the highways looks parked; the exact window for that lorry is on its own page under My trucks.

It says the portal is not responding — is that my mistake?

Usually it is a typo in the registration number, and sometimes a lorry the toll network has stopped reporting. You are warned after five unanswered checks in a row and checking pauses when that lorry's failure limit is reached; check the number before going live again, because each failed check still costs a credit.

The last-checked time on my lorry is hours old

A lorry is only checked when one of its own alerts is due, so a twelve-hour alert is checked twice a day and that is what the time will show. If the lorry is paused it is not being checked at all, and the badge on My trucks says so.

I added the lorry but nothing has happened since

A lorry with no alert switched on is never checked — it sits on the list costing nothing and telling you nothing. Open it from My trucks and switch on one alert.

I typed the number wrong. What happens?

The portal cannot answer for a number that does not exist, so the checks fail — and a failed check costs a credit like any other. After five failures in a row we message you, and at the failure limit the lorry pauses. Fix the number on the lorry's own page before going live again.

More in “Add a lorry”

Can I add the same lorry twice?

There is no reason to. One lorry may carry one alert of each kind, and a plaza alert for each named plaza, which covers every question you would otherwise add a second copy for.

More in “Add a lorry”

Does removing a lorry delete its history?

No. Its alerts go and its slot is freed, but every toll crossing on record is kept.

More in “Add a lorry”

The route is empty but the balance is going down. Is something broken?

Probably not. Checks are charged whether or not they find anything, and only movements are written to the route. Look at the last-checked time: if it is recent, the checking is working and the lorry has not crossed a plaza.

More in “My trucks, and a lorry's own page”

What does Check now cost?

One credit, the same as a search you type. The button says the figure before you press it.

More in “My trucks, and a lorry's own page”

Can I read several lorries together?

Yes. Put them in a group on Groups and their crossings appear on one combined timeline. A group checks nothing of its own and costs nothing.

More in “My trucks, and a lorry's own page”

Does pausing lose my alerts or my history?

No. The alerts stay attached with their settings, and every crossing on record is kept. Going live carries on where it stopped.

More in “Going live, switching off, and every reason a lorry pauses”

My lorry paused itself and I did not do anything. Why?

It says which reason applied, on the row and on its own page. The commonest are no movement for long enough, an end time you set arriving, and an empty balance.

More in “Going live, switching off, and every reason a lorry pauses”

Does a paused lorry use a slot on my plan?

No. Only lorries being checked use slots, so pausing one frees room for another.

More in “Going live, switching off, and every reason a lorry pauses”

I renewed my plan. Why is nothing being checked?

Because renewing does not switch the lorries back on. Open My trucks and take live the ones you need.

More in “Going live, switching off, and every reason a lorry pauses”

What is the fastest beat I can set?

The field accepts short intervals, but nothing is checked more often than the platform's own sweep, and a fast beat is the most expensive thing on the product. Start at an hour and speed it up only for a lorry you are actively waiting on.

More in “How often we look, and what that costs”

If a lorry does not move, do I still pay?

Yes. The credit is spent when the check runs, whatever it finds. That is what the no-movement auto-pause exists to limit.

More in “How often we look, and what that costs”

Can I set a different beat for a night run?

Not on a schedule. Change the interval on the lorry's page when you need it, or pause the lorry and take it live again when the run starts.

More in “How often we look, and what that costs”

Alerts and Telegram

Guides
Where do the alerts actually reach me?

On Telegram, and on the bell inside the app — every alert is always recorded in the app whether or not it was delivered. Set the delivery up in Settings.

Do I have to use Telegram?

To have an alert reach your phone, yes — it is the only channel that delivers today. Read this twice: if no chat id is saved, or one is saved with the switch off, the alert is recorded in the app, never sent to anybody, and the credit is spent all the same.

Can I get the alerts on WhatsApp or SMS?

Not yet. WhatsApp appears in Settings marked coming soon and sends nothing at all today, and there is no SMS channel — Telegram is the one that works.

How do I connect Telegram?

Open @userinfobot, press Start, and it replies with a plain number — that is your chat id. Paste it into Settings, then press Start on @Gst_truck_watch_bot too, turn the alerts switch on and press Send test. Step by step in alerts and Telegram.

The Telegram test message does not arrive

Almost always because @Gst_truck_watch_bot has never been started, and Telegram forbids a bot from messaging anyone who has not started it. Open it, send /start, then press Send test again in Settings.

The lorry moved but I got no message

The usual cause is Telegram not being connected — check that a chat id is saved with the switch on in Settings and that Send test arrives. After that: the alert may be switched off, the crossing may not have reached the toll network yet, or the reading may have named the plaza the lorry was already at, which is not a movement.

It will not let me add the same alert twice

One alert of each kind per lorry, refused by design — two of a kind means two beats on one question and two charges every time they coincide. The interval belongs to the alert you already have, so change it there instead of adding a second one.

The toll plaza I want is not in the list

The list only holds plazas some lorry has actually been recorded at, and it offers the ones ahead of your lorry first; spelling mistakes are forgiven, so try typing it. If nothing close comes up you can still confirm the name as typed — but an alert fires only on the exact name the toll record uses, so a name the network never produces stays silent for ever while checks keep costing credits.

Is only-when-it-moves cheaper than every-time-we-look?

No. All the alert kinds check exactly as often, so choosing only-when-it-moves makes your phone quieter, not your bill smaller. Only a slower interval, or pausing the lorry, spends less.

Can I get an alert when a lorry leaves a state, or enters a city?

Not as its own rule. The three kinds above are what the app offers. Use When it reaches a plaza on a plaza on that route, or Only when it moves and read the plaza names as they arrive.

More in “Choosing alert rules”

I added a plaza alert and heard nothing when the lorry passed it.

Check the plaza name is one you picked from the suggestions rather than typed freehand. The alert fires on an exact match with the name in the toll record. Also check that the lorry is on the Live tracking tab.

More in “Choosing alert rules”

Why can I not add two Only when it moves rules?

Because they would answer one question twice and charge you for both. Change the beat on the rule you already have instead.

More in “Choosing alert rules”

An alert says it was not delivered. Do I get the credit back?

No. The credit paid for the check, which ran. Delivery is separate and free. The alert is kept in the app with the reason it failed, so nothing is lost except the message.

More in “Where alerts are delivered, and setting up Telegram”

Can I send alerts to a group or to my team?

You save one chat id. A Telegram group has its own id, so a group chat can be used — get its id the same way and paste that instead.

More in “Where alerts are delivered, and setting up Telegram”

Can I get alerts by SMS or WhatsApp?

SMS and WhatsApp are not available. You can use phone notifications or Telegram, configured separately in Settings.

More in “Where alerts are delivered, and setting up Telegram”

Will my old alerts be sent once I connect Telegram?

No. Alerts raised while it was not connected were recorded and not sent, and they stay that way. They are still readable on the bell and on the lorry's own page.

Credits and what they cost

Guides
Why did my credits go down when the truck did not move?

Because a credit is spent when a check runs, never on what the check finds. No movement, nothing new, an unchanged plaza, no alert raised — every one of those is a check that happened and a credit that is gone. See what it went on, lorry by lorry, on Activity.

Does a check that failed still cost me a credit?

Yes. A portal that did not answer, an empty result and a new crossing all cost the same one credit, because the asking is what is charged. That is why retrying a registration number the portal will not answer only buys errors.

Do the alerts and the Telegram messages cost credits?

No. Alerts and their delivery are free — the only things that spend credits are a manual search, at one credit, and an automatic check, at one credit.

Do my credits expire?

Credits you have paid for never expire: they survive your plan ending, they survive a renewal, and they are still there months later. Free trial credits are the one exception — they belong to the trial and the unused balance is cleared when it ends.

What happens to my trial credits when the trial ends?

They are cleared. Trial credits are not lifetime credits — they were free, the trial is over, and whatever is left goes with it, so the leftover cannot be spent later or restored by buying a plan. A plan starts a fresh term from the day you buy it and brings credits of its own.

My plan has ended — have I lost my credits too?

No. The credits are yours, they never expire, and they still pay for manual searches on Search. What ends with the plan is automatic tracking and the ability to top up.

Why will it not let me buy credits?

A top-up needs a plan that is running right now, and not a trial — so an expired plan, the free trial, or never having bought a plan are all refused. Buy or renew a plan on Plan and credits; a plan brings credits with it, and you can add a top-up to the same payment.

I have three alerts on one lorry — is that three credits a check?

No. The charge is one credit per lorry per check, not per alert, so several alerts falling due on the same lorry at the same moment share one charge. A faster interval costs more; more rules on the same interval do not.

Where can I see what my credits went on?

Activity breaks the spending down by day and by lorry, and Credit history is the statement of everything added and used that got the balance to today's number.

How do I make my credits last longer?

Slow the interval down and pause what you are not watching — those are the only two levers, because the number of checks a day is the spend a day. A paused lorry keeps every crossing it recorded, costs nothing while it sits there, and frees a slot on your plan.

The portal failed. Why was I charged?

Because the check ran. That is also why a lorry pauses itself after a run of failures — so a wrong number cannot keep buying errors.

More in “What spends a credit, and what does not”

Does a bigger plan make each look cheaper?

No. A plan decides how many lorries and for how long. The rate for a look is the same on every plan. Bigger top-ups are what give you better value per credit.

More in “What spends a credit, and what does not”

Where can I see exactly what was charged?

Activity lists every charge and can be narrowed to one lorry. Credit history reconciles the same charges against your balance.

More in “What spends a credit, and what does not”

My balance dropped and I did not search anything.

Automatic checks are almost always the bigger number. One lorry on a fifteen-minute beat is 96 checks a day whether or not it moves. Open Activity and look at the spending grouped by lorry.

More in “Your credit history, and running out”

Can my balance go negative?

No. A check that the balance cannot cover is refused rather than charged.

More in “Your credit history, and running out”

I topped up but a lorry is still paused.

That is expected. Renewing and topping up never switch a lorry back on. Take it live from My trucks.

More in “Your credit history, and running out”

A top-up is not showing in my history.

Check Payment history first. A payment that has not been confirmed adds nothing until it is. See my payment did not add credits.

Plans and the free trial

Guides
Do I need a plan just to search one number by hand?

No. Manual search runs on credits alone, so it works on an expired plan and on an account that never bought one — that is the point of credits never expiring. What needs a live plan is automatic tracking, and topping up.

What does a plan give me that credits do not?

A plan decides how many lorries you may watch at once and until when, and it is what allows automatic checking and top-ups at all; credits decide what each look costs. You need both — a plan with an empty balance checks nothing, and credits with no plan still search by hand. The plan is charged once for its whole term, not monthly; see pricing.

How many lorries can I watch at once?

Whatever your plan allows, and the limit counts the lorries being watched rather than the ones on your list — so pausing one frees a slot for another. Your own limit and how much of it is in use are on Plan and credits.

My plan has expired — what still works?

Manual search, and nothing else: automatic tracking stops and top-ups are refused until a plan is running again. Renew inside the window that Plan and credits shows you and your lorries carry on exactly where they stopped; after it, they are switched off and you take them live again yourself.

How do I renew, or move to a bigger plan?

Renewing is a button on Plan and credits, but only once the plan has actually ended. Changing plan, adding trucks mid-term or renewing early is not self-service — ask us through contact and we will set it up.

If I do not use my plan, do I get the money back?

A plan is charged once for its term and credits are a prepaid entitlement with no cash value, so there is no self-service refund. If you think you have been charged incorrectly, write to us through contact with the payment reference — the full position is in the terms.

Is the price monthly?

No. The price shown is for the whole plan, charged once, and the card says how long the plan runs for.

More in “The plans, and what each one allows”

Can I upgrade part-way through?

Buy the plan you want from Plan and credits. Your credits are unaffected either way — they are a separate balance that never expires.

More in “The plans, and what each one allows”

Do I lose my lorries if I move to a smaller plan?

Nothing is deleted. But only as many lorries as the new plan allows may be checked at once, so you choose which ones stay live and pause the rest.

More in “The plans, and what each one allows”

What happens to unused credits when a plan ends?

Purchased credits stay. They never expire, and they still pay for searching by hand. Only trial credits die with the trial.

More in “The plans, and what each one allows”

Can I buy credits instead of renewing, to keep tracking going?

No, twice over. A top-up needs an active, paid plan, so it would be refused — and credits alone would not restore automatic tracking anyway. Renewing is the only thing that brings it back.

More in “Active, expired, or no plan — and renewing”

Will I lose my alerts and settings if I renew late?

No. The lorries, their alerts, their beats and their history are all kept. What you have to do yourself is take each lorry live again.

Payments and invoices

Guides
I paid and my credits have not arrived

The payment is confirmed by the gateway rather than by your browser, so on a weak connection the money moves a few seconds before the credits do — the page keeps checking by itself and you can leave it. If it still has not landed, find the payment on Payments and send us its reference through support.

My coupon code was refused

The form says which of the reasons it was: the code is not recognised, it has not started or has expired, it has been used up or already used by you, it applies only to plans or only to credit top-ups, or the order is below its minimum. Check it against how the offer was worded, then ask us through support.

Where is my receipt?

On Payments: every payment has a full receipt with its reference and what it bought, and the list can be exported.

Can I pay by cash or bank transfer?

The checkout on the site takes online payment only. If you need to pay another way, ask us first through contact — a payment we take offline is recorded on your account by hand, and credits are only added once it has actually reached us.

Will you charge my card again automatically?

No. Nothing here renews itself — a plan is one payment for its term and a top-up is one payment for credits, so every charge is one you made yourself.

Why is my top-up being refused?

A top-up needs an active, paid plan. On an expired plan, on the trial, or with no plan ever bought, buy or renew a plan instead — it brings credits with it.

More in “Buying credits, and why a plan is required”

Can I buy a plan and credits in one payment?

Yes. The buying panel lets you attach a top-up to a plan purchase, and it is charged once. Your receipt shows both halves separately.

More in “Buying credits, and why a plan is required”

Do bought credits expire if I stop using the account?

No. Purchased credits are yours indefinitely and still pay for searching by hand even with no plan.

More in “Buying credits, and why a plan is required”

Is there a minimum on the open tier?

Yes, and the panel shows it. Below the minimum there is nothing to sell, so the amount is refused.

More in “Buying credits, and why a plan is required”

Can I get a GST invoice?

The receipt on Payment history is what the app produces. For anything more, write to us from the contact page with the payment reference.

More in “Your payment history and receipts”

Where do I see what a payment did to my balance?

The receipt states the credits it added, and Credit history shows the same movement in your statement.

More in “Your payment history and receipts”

A payment failed. Was I charged?

No. A refused payment charges nothing and adds nothing. If your bank shows a debit anyway, quote the reference to us.

Invite and earn

Guides
How much do I get for inviting somebody?

A percentage of what they pay, twice: once on their first plan and once on their first top-up, with a smaller share going to them as well. The live percentages and a worked example are on Invite and earn.

When do the referral credits reach me?

As credits on your balance, automatically, the moment their payment goes through — nothing to claim. Each of the two events pays once per person, ever, and you can watch where each invitee stands on Invite and earn.

When exactly do the credits arrive?

On the same payment that triggered them, as soon as it is confirmed. If a friend has paid and nothing has landed, check whether their payment is confirmed on their side, then write to us.

More in “Refer and earn”

Can I invite myself with a second account?

No. The scheme pays on real payments and the checks are on the account, the mailbox and the mobile number. It is not worth the trouble.

More in “Refer and earn”

Is there a bonus for bringing several people?

There is a milestone bonus, and Invite and earn shows whether it is running and what it takes to reach it.

Guides
The verification code has not arrived

Look in the spam or junk folder — a first message from a new sender is often filed there, and marking it not spam helps every later email from us reach you. Each code can be used once and expires, so if nothing comes, send a fresh one from verify email.

I cannot find Sign out

It is in the account menu, at the end of the portal navigation — on a phone open the menu, and on a laptop it is under your name at the top right of the portal.

Will I get phone notifications if I add the app to my iPhone home screen?

No — the app itself sends no notifications on any phone, on the home screen or not. Alerts arrive on Telegram, and are always listed on the bell inside the app when you open it.

How do I sign out on a laptop?

From the menu at the top of the screen, the same as on a phone.

More in “Your profile, your phone, and getting help”

Can somebody else in my office use my account?

There are no separate logins under one account today. Sharing a sign-in means sharing the balance and the alerts, so use one Telegram chat that you both read.

Problems and fixes

Guides
My phone is silent but my balance keeps falling

This is the Telegram problem and it is the first thing to check: an alert with no chat id saved, or a chat id with the switch off, is recorded in the app and never sent — and the credit is spent either way. Open Settings, confirm the id is saved and the switch is on, and press Send test.

Every one of my lorries stopped at the same moment

That is an account-wide stop, not a fault on any lorry: either the balance ran out or the plan ended, and both stop every live lorry together. The badge on My trucks says which, and fixing the account comes before switching anything back on.

Everything is refused but the screen still shows credits

That is a finished free trial: its credits ended with it, so the leftover figure cannot be spent on anything. Choosing a plan on Plan and credits starts you again, and a plan can bring credits with it.

I searched a lorry and nothing came back

Nothing found means nothing was recorded — not that the lorry is not moving. Check the number for a typo, remember that untolled and state roads produce no records at all, then try a lorry you know runs on highways to satisfy yourself the search is working. The credit is still spent, because the asking is what costs.

Can I use a toll crossing as proof?

No — treat it as a lead, not as evidence. Records arrive late, arrive incomplete or never arrive, a gap has innocent explanations, and every timestamp means recorded at rather than is at; corroborate anything you act on by other means. The terms and data sources set out what may and may not be relied on.

It says it was checked, but there is nothing new.

Then the lorry has not been recorded at a new plaza. The check ran and cost its credit, and there was nothing to report. Nothing found means nothing was recorded.

More in “My lorry is not being checked”

I switched it on and it switched itself off again.

That is the empty balance or the lapsed plan refusing the next check. The badge will say which. Fix that first, then go live.

More in “My lorry is not being checked”

Can I force a check right now?

Yes. Check now on the lorry's own page does one look immediately for one credit.

More in “My lorry is not being checked”

Will the alerts I missed be sent now that Telegram is connected?

No. They were recorded and not sent, and they stay that way. You can still read them on the bell and on each lorry's page.

More in “I got no alert”

Do I get the credits back for alerts that were never delivered?

No. The credit paid for the check, which ran. Delivery is free and separate.

More in “I got no alert”

The test message arrives but real alerts do not.

Then delivery works and nothing is being raised. Check the alert is switched on, check the lorry is on the Live tracking tab, and remember that Only when it moves says nothing until the lorry reaches a different plaza.

More in “I got no alert”

I paid for a plan and a top-up together. Only half the credits show.

Open the receipt. A combined payment lists the plan's included credits and the bought credits separately, and the total is what landed on your balance.

More in “My payment did not add credits”

How long should I wait before writing to you?

A confirmation normally takes seconds. If a payment is still unconfirmed after a few minutes and your bank shows a debit, write to us with the reference.

More in “My payment did not add credits”

Can I get a refund?

Write to us from the contact page with the payment reference and what happened. Refunds are not something the app does by itself.

More in “My payment did not add credits”

Can I change the email I sign in with?

Not yourself. Write to us — the address is what your receipts, your reset link and your trial all hang on.

More in “I cannot sign in, or reset my password”

Is my data still there if I have not signed in for months?

Yes. Your lorries, their alerts and your purchased credits are all kept. Automatic checking will need a plan that is still running, and you take each lorry live yourself.
