Your first lorry, end to end
Five steps, in this order. The Telegram step is the one people skip and the expensive one to skip.

Do these in order. Step three is the one people leave for later, and leaving it for later is what makes the balance go down while the phone stays silent.
- 1Confirm your email with the six-digit code, then start the free trial or choose a plan on Plan and credits. A plan is what allows automatic checking at all.
- 2Try one search by hand on Search. Type any registration number. It costs one credit and it proves the account works before you commit to a beat.
- 3Connect Telegram in Settings — before you switch any tracking on. Save your chat id, turn the switch on, and press Send test. If the test message does not arrive, alerts will not either.
- 4Add the lorry on My trucks. The form asks for the number and then for its first alert.
- 5Give it one alert and pick how often to look. Only when it moves is the sensible choice. An hour is a sensible first beat; fifteen minutes is 96 credits a day for that one lorry.

The home screen after signing in: your balance, and the three things to do first.
- 1What is left in the wallet, and roughly how many checks that buys.
- 2The plan: how many lorries may be watched at once, and until when.
- 3Every lorry you have added. The count is live, paused and silent together.
- 4Everything that has been sent to you, newest first.
A lorry with no alert is never checked
It sits on the list costing nothing and telling you nothing. That is why the add form asks for the first alert in the same breath as the number.
How to tell it is working
Within one beat, the lorry's own page shows a last-checked time. Your activity page shows the check and its cost. And a movement produces a Telegram message. If the first two happen and the third does not, the problem is Telegram — see I got no alert.
Questions about this
How long until I see something?
The first check happens within one beat of the alert you set. But a message only arrives when there is something to say: a parked lorry produces no movement and, on the Only when it moves rule, no message.
Should I start with a fast beat to see it working?
No. Use Check now on the lorry's own page instead — it is one credit and it answers straight away. Then leave the automatic beat slow until you know what you want.
