Claim the free trial

A short trial with a fixed pot of credits, once per account, after your email is confirmed. It ends when either the days or the credits run out.

Go to Plan and credits and press Start the free trial. It is a button rather than something handed over at sign-up, so the clock starts when you are ready, not on the day you registered.

The trial ends on whichever runs out first

It is limited by both its days and its credits. Spend the credits on day two and the trial is finished on day two. Let the days run out with credits still in the pot and the trial is finished then. Your own Plan and credits page shows both numbers.

Three things the trial will not do

  • It cannot be topped up. Buying credits needs a paid plan that is running, and a trial is not one. So a trial that runs out of credits is finished until you choose a plan.
  • Its credits do not survive it. When the trial ends the unused trial balance is cleared. They were free and the trial is over.
  • It is once per account, and once per mailbox and mobile number too. If you think that is wrong for you, write to us.

Purchased credits are different

Credits you pay for never expire. They survive your plan ending, they survive a renewal, and they are still there months later. Only trial credits die with the trial.

Spend it on the right thing

A trial pot does not go far on a fast beat: one lorry checked every fifteen minutes spends 96 credits a day. Put your one lorry on a slower beat — an hour, or three hours — and you will see the product work for several days instead of one afternoon. See how often we look.

Questions about this

Can I get a second trial?

No. It is refused by the account, the mailbox and the mobile number. An administrator can add credits by hand if there is a real reason, so write to us rather than making a second account.

My trial ended and I still had credits showing. Where did they go?

They were cleared, which is the rule for trial credits. The clearing is recorded in your credit history so you can see exactly what happened and when.

Do I have to give card details for the trial?

No. Nothing is charged and nothing is asked for. You only reach a payment screen when you choose a plan.
